Imbizo win inter-districts PE competition

The event was part of the field competitions and the track championships are on at Nust today.
Cement Primary School were the deserving winners.
Their director Alfred Nyathi expressed satisfaction with his charges’ performance.
“I majored in physical education at college hence it was easier to teach the kids to do the moves they did, and for aerobics I consulted local health studios who came and helped perfect our moves,” he said.
The Falsetto Fam sponsored competition turned to be the main attraction for both pupils and parents.
Mzilikazi District were second, Khami third, Reigate fourth while Bulawayo Central were fifth.
There was also competition in high and long jump.
Meanwhile, Gladys Utete who is the technical manager for Naph Bulawayo Province expressed gratitude to Falsetto Fam who provided T-shirts and a shield that was won by Mbizo.
“We are grateful to Falsetto Fam for helping us out especially since this was our first PE competition in Bulawayo in the new generation and we are hopeful that this is the beginning of a good and long lasting relationship with Falsetto,” she said.
Nhlanhla Ncube, the owner of Falsetto, pledged his continued partnership with Naph and challenged other businesspeople to plough back into their communities so that sport development from grassroots level is enhanced.
