IN GOOD AND BAD TIMES

IT wasn’t a good season for CAPS United who, at one stage, found themselves having to battle relegation.

However, the Green Machine found a way to escape the stormy waters by finding their touch which saw them avoiding defeat in their last nine games.

One CAPS United son, who found himself courting a lot of media attention, was their all-weather fan, who is affectionately known as CheMhofela.

Club president Farai Jere named him the CAPS United Fan of the Year and they appeared to have a strong bond when they met in Harare recently.

“He is an amazing guy,” said Jere.

“His blood is green and he stood out as he showed us a lot of love even when the going was tough.

“Such dedicated fans need to be rewarded and we will work hard to ensure that we do that next season.”
