Indeed, we learnt a lot this year

WHOEVER coined the phrase “Igore rezvidzidzo” aptly described the experiences we had during this eventful year. From broke diamond dealers to shenanigans of men of the cloth, Yours Truly had a torrid time exposing the rot that has crept so deeply in our society.

Like I have always said, the purpose of this column is to preserve the little that remains of our moral fabric!

As we wave goodbye to the so-called year of lessons, news filtering through is that this other popular city thigh vendor has fallen on hard times.

Yellow bone, as she has always been, her generosity over the years has seen her dishing out to businessmen of equally loose morals, but it appears she has run out of luck as usual clients are now turning their back on her.

Yours Truly has it on good authority that she was dumped by a local businessman.

I mean that young businessman who inherited his late father’s riches and now splashes cash on women of different shapes and sizes.

After being dumped by that businessman, Blabber understands that she is now dating a certain young man, a twin brother running a small family business.

Cash is no longer coming her way as it used to given that our dear twin brother, who drives a blue SUV ramshackle, cannot match the standards that had been set by his predecessors.

As things stand, it will not be surprising if she soon comes out in the open and joins fellow sisters of loose morals who ply their trade in watering holes dotted around the city.

When gospelneurship gets tough

What is it that we hear about this popular bishop-cum-businessman who is selling church property after failing to lure followers to his church.

While his counterparts, especially in the capital, are monied and living lavish lifestyles, it appears things are not all that rosy for the local man of God. Yours Truly will certainly get to the bottom of it all and as usual, dear reader, you will be the first to hear it!

As we cross over to the New Year, remember to take care of your loved ones and wish you a prosperous 2016!
