Antony told the media, reacting to a newspaper report which said that Pakistan had complained to the United Nations’ Military Observer Group that Indian soldiers had beheaded 12 of its soldiers in cross-border attacks since 1998.
The report by an Indian newspaper appeared less than a month after the Indian Army had accused the Pakistani Army of beheading one of its two soldiers killed in military aggression along the Line of Control, the international border in the disputed region of Kashmir.
Pakistan has denied the accusations and instead blamed India for the military aggression earlier this month and killing three of its soldiers at the border.
India and Pakistan have fought at least three major wars over Kashmir in the last 65 years. — Xinhua.
