“The main thrust of National Customer Service Week is to create a positive message that lasts all year long, and to provide a productive opportunity to generate an even stronger commitment to customer service excellence,” he said.

The first three days of the event will be constituted by internal company programmes, while firms will have an opportunity to inform their customers on company products through a customer service expo that will be held in the Africa Unity Square on day four of the event. A Customer Service Week dinner will also be held on the 7th, where the guest speaker will be global call centre and customer service guru Mr Rod Jones.

Local motivational speaker Mr Milton Kamwendo will also address delegates during the event.
National Customer Service Week is an extension of the International Customer Service Week, which was initiated by the International Customer Service Association in 1988.
