Gospel ensemble Indosakusa The Morning Star is preparing to launch its 13th album next month, marking another milestone in a musical journey that spans more than two decades.
The group, which was formed on May 7, 2001 in Mapane Village, Enqameni, Gwanda, began as Impumelelo Shining Stars before rebranding in 2018 to Indosakusa The Morning Star.
Since their debut album Emthonjeni in 2001, the group has released 12 projects, including Umhlaba Uyajikajika, Ngeke Ehluleke, Love One Another, Avulekile Amazulu, Gospel Vol 1 and 2 and their latest offering, Isililo Sentandane.

In an interview, group leader Oscar K Siziba (Thobela) said the upcoming album promises to connect with listeners spiritually and socially.
“We assure our supporters that this album will not disappoint them.
“It is full of fire and power, and speaks directly to the challenges and realities of our time. Each track carries a message of hope, encouragement and spiritual strength,” he said.
Recording is set to take place in South Africa and the album will have 10 tracks .
The album will be launched on April 17 in Bulawayo.
The group attributes its longevity to unity, discipline and members’ shared vision. It is made up of Kwanele Moyo, Mduduzi Moyo, Oscar Siziba, Kwanele Ncube, Thembelani Ndlovu, Trevor Dube, Nomore Sibanda, Atiambiwi Shoko and Innocent Sibanda.
Indosakusa has performed at churches, community events and national platforms, earning praise for their energetic live shows and uplifting messages.
Known for their blend of gospel harmonies, traditional rhythms and socially conscious lyrics, the ensemble has built a loyal following.
As they prepare for the launch, the group says it remains committed to its founding vision of spreading the gospel while celebrating the spirit of Ubuntu.
