Inline eye first position

The Shadreck Mlauzi coached Inline Academy are third on the log with 17 points, just three points behind log leaders Black Rhinos.

 

Mufakose Queens, second on the log, have amassed 19 points and if the Bulawayo-based giants collect maximum points they will take their points tally to 20 and dislodge Mufakose Queens.

Mlauzi acknowledged that they will be playing a tough match tomorrow and that his team needed to collect maximum points.

“It’s a very tough match considering we are only three points away from the log leaders and we therefore desperately need the three points,” he said.

Trust Kwembeya, the team’s founder said  tomorrow’s match will be an interesting one.

“It is a thrilling encounter and it’s a match we must win,” said Kwembeya.

Meanwhile, another Bulawayo giant, New Orleans who are breathing heavily behind their neighbours Inline Academy are playing host to Faith Drive at Raylton Sports Club tomorrow.

New Orleans director Nkanyiso Bhebhe said their players had not trained as a team because of the opening of schools but they would strive to excel.

“Most of our players have opened school so the practice sessions have been a bit of a challenge but we are going to try our best not to disappoint our fans. I am happy because most of our players have recovered from injuries and they are ready for the match,” said Bhebhe.

The ever modest coach Sithethelelwe “Kwinji” Sibanda did not have much to say about tomorrow’s match but has promised to continue with their good run in the league.

“We are hoping to maintain our good run,” she said.

Elsewhere, log leaders Black Rhinos who walloped Cyclone Stars 4-1 last week have a date with struggling Masvingo Queens at 1 Commando tomorrow.

Bottom placed Chipembere Queens play host to injured Cyclone Stars who seek to recover their pride after they suffered a 4-1 humiliating defeat to Black Rhinos at Mkoba Stadium.

Flame Lily who last week lost 3-0 to Masvingo Queens, lock horns with Conduit Soccer Academy at Larfage Stadium tomorrow.
