adminAN inmate serving the final lap of his sentence, died at the Harare Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday morning after being electrocuted by naked cables in the court’s canteen.
The inmate was on duty cooking for other inmates who were appearing in court on Tuesday.
Initial reports say the inmate went to the canteen to wash plates when the incident occurred. ZESA electricians and the police officers are currently investigating the death of the inmate.
