Workers’ Day celebrations in Bulawayo on Friday turned into an all-night spectacle as Insimbi ZeZhwane and Godolude delivered electrifying performances that kept revellers on their feet until the early hours of the morning.

Held at Palace Hotel gardens, the event lived up to its billing as a high-energy celebration, drawing a lively crowd eager to unwind and mark the public holiday in style.

The show featured a solid supporting line-up that included Friendly B Brothers. However, it was Insimbi ZeZhwane and Godolude who stole the spotlight, captivating the audience with commanding stage presence and engaging performances.

According to organisers, the turnout and response surpassed expectations, with patrons dancing well into the next day.

“Insimbi ZeZhwane and Godolude nailed it, they kept people on their feet up to 6am,” organisers said.

Known for their rhumba sound, Insimbi ZeZhwane delivered a vibrant set that resonated strongly with the crowd, particularly workers from various sectors who formed the backbone of the audience.

Godolude maintained the momentum with an equally energetic performance that ensured there was no lull throughout the night.

Beyond the music, the event created a lively social atmosphere, giving attendees a space to connect, celebrate and fully embrace the spirit of Workers’ Day.
