Hundreds of young people have convened at the Harare International Conference Centre for the International Youth Summit on Land and Economic Freedom.
The summit’s agenda includes discussions on youth empowerment policies, access to land, entrepreneurship and economic inclusion.
Delegates have been drawn from various universities and colleges across Africa, Europe, Russia, China, the United States, Belarus, Jamaica, Armenia, Venezuela, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Honduras, Canada, Tajikistan and Haiti.
The summit, which kicked off yesterday and runs until Monday, coincides with Africa Day celebrations tomorrow.
The International Youth Summit aims to empower young people by showcasing Zimbabwe’s development initiatives and promoting entrepreneurship and access to land.
