DETECTIVE Constable Nomore Muradzikwa, on Wednesday, testified in a case where four accused persons are facing 19 counts of unlawful entry and theft.
The quartet are accused of allegedly stealing an assortment of goods, which include TVs, car batteries, fridges, gas stoves, gas tanks, three bottles of whisky and a blanket.
Detective Constable Muradzikwa told the court that on 20 May, they arrested John Malunga and Menelisi Sibanda near Hillside shops, where they had parked their Honda Fit car waiting for a client to buy the TV.
The investigations officer told the court that Malunga then implicated Arise Moyo and Fungai Chinjodzi.
In testifying, he told the court that Malunga led them to where they sold the stolen items and they recovered the stolen property.
Muradzikwa told the court that people who had their items stolen identified their property. The seizure forms indicating the items that were stolen were tendered in court.
