Iran calls for enhanced ties with Africa

TEHRAN. — Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh said yesterday that Iran and African countries should make use of their natural, technical and engineering potential and capabilities to further boost bilateral economic and trade relations.
Nematzadeh made the remarks in a meeting with ambassadors of African countries to Iran.

He underscored the need for implementation of agreements already inked between Iran and African states.
The Iranian minister stressed that the Islamic Republic enjoys a strategic situation in the sensitive Middle East region. — IRNA.
