Isginci hit-maker celebrates double platinum milestone

Musician Mduduzi Ncube is celebrating his double platinum milestone, thanking fans for turning his heartfelt love songs into chart-topping success.

This is after reaching a massive double platinum milestone. The 31-year-old star from Hammarsdale, KZN, known for his soulful and heartfelt love songs, said the achievement is proof that his music is truly touching lives across Mzansi.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Mduduzi said the love shown by his fans is beyond imagination.
“As a multi-platinum artiste, I feel amazing. It shows that people support and love my music. Ever since I joined the industry, they’ve been there for me. I’m sure my music has changed their lives, and they still want more,” he said.

Mduduzi has built a solid name for himself through hit songs such as Isiginci, Langa Linye and Dear Ex-Yami. His smooth vocals and honest lyrics have made him one of the most loved voices in Afro-pop, especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
And for Mduduzi, love is not just a theme. It is his truth.

“I believe in love. I respect love because it’s the most true and raw feeling. When it hurts, it hurts. When it conquers, it conquers. Love always makes a statement,” he said.

The singer said he does not fake emotions in the studio.

“If it’s a healing song, I have to be healed. If it’s a happy song, I have to be happy. If it’s a love song, I need to be loved. I write from a real place.”

However, his journey has not always been smooth. Mduduzi revealed that his parents initially pushed him to focus on school, reminding him that his mkhulu was a teacher.

“They used to say, ‘Mdu, focus on school.’ But music is a passion. It’s something that comes from the heart. If you ignore it, it will haunt you. You have to pour it out there and give it to the people,” he said.

Now, with a double platinum under his belt, Mduduzi is proof that following your heart and gift pays off in a big way. – DailySun
