It never rains but pours for Tynwald High School

After losing six learners in a bus accident in Nyanga two weeks ago, misfortune has befallen Tynwald High School again after robbers broke into the school premises on Tuesday and got away with US$5 800 cash, among other items.

In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said the suspected robbers attacked two security guards who were on duty before stealing the cash and a laptop.

“Police in Harare are investigating a case of robbery which occurred on October 25, 2022 at Tynwald High School, Harare,” said ZRP.

“Five unknown suspects attacked two security guards who were on duty at the school before stealing a cellphone, wallet, US$5 800 cash and an HP laptop, all valued at US$6 015.”
