UPCOMING dancehall artist, Boi Breezy, says his selection as one of the new artists to perform at the Zim Dancehall Anniversary is a dream come true.
The event is slated for August 12 at Dzivaresekwa Stadium.
The aim of the event is to celebrate the pioneers of the genre, its rich history and the impact it has made in the industry.
It is also a platform where new artists, from across the country, will be given a platform to showcase their creativity and evolution of the genre .
Boi Breezy is set to share the stage with big artists such as Freeman HKD, Silent Killer Killer T, Shinsoman, Guspy Warrior and Jay C
“It is a dream come true and a defining moment in my career.
“There were many submissions, especially by fellow new artists, which made the selection process stiff but I’m glad I made it.
“Being given an opportunity to share the stage with big artists, who have driven the genre for many years, has shown me that I’m going somewhere with my career in music.
“I promise to put up a great performance as I can’t mess this up, this is a historic moment for me and my fans,” said Boi Breezy.
