It’s back to the trenches for BSSL teams

TEAMS playing under the Bulawayo Social Soccer League (BSSL) banner are back in the trenches to sweat it out this morning in match day 23.

This fixture, a hectic league made up of two equal pools  with twenty six teams apiece is just a few games away from reaching the half way mark.

A number of communities from across the length and breadth of Bulawayo will be treated to more spills as well as drama when teams clash for the valuable three points.

Nail biting encounters are on the cards once the men in the middle blow the whistle to signal the start of the games. In pool A matches that are likely to keep the followers of social soccer on their feet is the game featuring the reigning champions Stars FC against Old Timers. Considering the history of these two teams in the league, a lot of bragging rights are at stake to prove who the big boy of the league is.

This also goes to the contest between Man U against Zulu Chiefs in Old Magwegwe.

In pool B, all eyes will be on the battle of the “crazy ones” when Pumula Crackers take on their equally crazy buddies from Njube.  This is one balanced game that can go either way depending on how the players apply themselves on the field of play.
