A 30-YEAR-OLD Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) officer, who gave birth to quadruplets last week, has described it as a miracle.
The scan had initially shown three kids.
Patience Muchineripi’s babies, three boys and a girl, were delivered through Caesarean section at Claybank Hospital in Gweru on September 28.

Patience welcomed the babies with joy and is seeking help from well-wishers to help the family bear the financial burden.
She is married to Anesu Mukutotsi, who is also a prison warden, stationed in Kwekwe.
She said although they were gainfully employed, they needed more help.
“This was my second pregnancy, the first born is a girl aged six years.

“Initially, the scan showed three babies and to get four was a surprise from the Lord.
“We are extremely thankful.
“I got discharged and went to our apartment in Kwekwe where I stay with my husband and our first-born child,” she said.
According to Patience, they need support to help raise the new bundles of joy.
“We need better accommodation, care givers (maids), clothing and blankets for both the kids and helpers.
“Food, like porridge, peanut butter, formula milk for the infants, health care and diapers for the kids are needed,” she said.
Her uncle, Musekiwa Hute, also expressed joy.
“We are all excited, but we want her to get some help with raising the kids.
“Everyone was surprised since the scan showed three kids, only to get four.
“Even the gynaecologist was surprised,” he said.
