SUNGURA ace, Romeo Gasa, headlines the re-opening of the entertainment joint’s live gigs arena with a potentially-intriguing gig tonight (Friday).
Gasa will take the opportunity to present songs from his forthcoming album, Huchi, to his legion of fans.
He will be supported by rising sungura artiste, Solo Moyo, whose music and writing style reminds many of the late sungura great, TongaiMoyo.
The arena which was under rehabilitation will see local DJs Lampy and Mshez entertaining fans throughout the week, starting tonight.
Chitsa Bar
RaggaManyika outfit, Assegai Crew, will be back at their favourite hunting ground on Sunday with a potentially thrilling performance.
The group, famed for the plug track, Kanyamakaripi, boasts of star-studied instrumentalists and are expected to mesmerise fans with cover songs.
They will jump onto the stage at 4pm.
The group will be supported by firebrand resident DJs Spillz and Wizzy.
Micasa
The formidable trio of DJ Snaxx, Terminator and Fraiser lead the upmarket bar’s weekend entertainment itinerary.
Snaxx comes in with a mixed bag of music, while Terminator is an old school music specialist.
Fraiser entertains revellersuntil Sunday.
Rising Afro-jazz sensation, WaCharie and Shamwaridzerwendo headlines this Sunday jazz night dubbed, Sunday chills.
Madziro
The outdoor entertainment joint, which has become popular for family events and public gatherings such as parties and get together events will see resident DJ Candyman, the Retrodon performing.
The veteran DJ entertains revellers every Saturday from 12-noon till the last mad drops.
He is popular for jamming old and new beats, while the request show has become one of the revellers’ favourite segment.
Amaru Bar
Resident DJs take turns to entertain revellers this weekend with a mixed bag of music.
Patrons, such as pool and soccer fans, enjoy free sumptuous snacks such as mazondo courtesy of the club management, while selected DJs provide entertainment.
