The “Gravity” co-stars attended the New York première of their new movie solo on Tuesday night, but there was no cause for concern as they entertained each other.
George (52) and 49-year-old Sandra shared a warm hug and enjoyed a laugh with each other as they warmed up on the special black carpet at AMC Lincoln Square Theatre.
Sandra looked beautiful in a white minidress, black and white heels and finished off the classic look by leaving her long hair loose around her shoulders.
Meanwhile, George was as handsome as ever in a dark suit, white shirt and dark tie.
Sandra and George are the sole actors in the new film directed by Alfonso Cuarón, in which they star as two astronauts stranded in space after being battered by the floating debris from a destroyed Russian satellite that has ruined their shuttle. Bullock plays rookie Dr Ryan Stone, to Clooney’s veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky, who must navigate their way across the void of space to reach the international space station and their only chance of salvation.
Although George and Sandra have been friends for years, they were forced to deny rumours of a romance after the pair put on an affectionate display while promoting “Gravity” at the Venice Film Festival in August.
George, who split from his wrestler-turned-model girlfriend Stacy Keibler in July, was snapped on more than one occasion staring at Sandra somewhat like a love sick puppy. His body language only served to inflame the rumours as he kept leaning into the actress and tending to her every need, at one point even affectionately mopping her brow.
However, Bullock, who has a three-year-old son Louis, was quick to shoot down the rumours telling Associated Press, “He was not making eyes. Maybe cross eyes but that’s the extent of his goggle eyes.” – Daily Mail.
