ITU director pays courtesy call on President Mnangagwa

Director of the Telecommunications Development Bureau at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), Dr Cosmas Zavazava, on Thursday paid a courtesy call on President Mnangagwa at State House in Harare.

Speaking to the media after his closed-door meeting with the President, Dr Zavazava stated that he had discussed digital integration across all sectors with President Mnangagwa.

Dr Zavazava is the elected official responsible for projects in 194 United Nations member states.

For her part, ICT, Postal and Courier Services Minister Tatenda Mavetera remarked that the ITU director had also sought support from President Mnangagwa for his second term as director in charge of telecommunications development.
