GLOBEtrotting Bulawayo dance group Iyasa are set to light up the grand finale of the Coca-Cola Cash Summer Splash Final draw at the Jason Moyo Mock Mall today.The well travelled group has promised to showcase their new acts and dances they released last year.
Iyasa, fresh from its Botswana tour promised a dazzling performance during the show. In an interview, Iyasa director Nkululeko Dube said their new dance Zangalewa and their new video Sijayiva Sibancane will thrill fans at the draw.
“We have a new dance Zangalewa that I am sure those gathered at the draw will enjoy. We released a video last year for our song Sijayiva sibancane and that song will also be showcased at the draw,” he said.
Dube added: “We have a specific dance routine for the summer splash that we created as one of the high points of the day.” The draw that started last year ended on January 5 with different prize monies up for grabs.
At the Coca-Cola Cash Summer Splash Final Draw, lucky winners will kiss the “January disease” goodbye as 25 people will walk away with $100, 13 with $300, five with $500 and six with $1,000.
Organisers are calling on Bulawayo residents to come in droves to the draw as they could walk away with various prizes. The draw in Bulawayo is the last in the country while the first was held in Mutare on January 15.
Last week high flying Jah Prayzah and chanter Shinsoman rocked Harare’s Mabvuku suburb in the other draw.
