UP-AND-COMING hip hop singer, Bongani “Jackie July’’ Ndlovu, is following his older brother Buffalo Souljah’s footsteps in pursuing a musical career.
The 25-year-old Chinhoyi-based rapper recently released a new extended play (EP) titled Jackie July.
It carries songs like Ndaita Bag, featuring Buffalo Souljah, Ngirozi, featuring Bosslife Zim, and Ndonamata.
“I am happy to have featured my brother Buffalo Souljah on one of the tracks on the EP.
“He has been mentoring and nurturing me musicwise and I feel blessed to have him helping me in the music game.
“He has vast experience in the game and I’m learning a lot from him,” he said.
He said the EP is meant to motivate and inspire the youth.
“The EP mainly talks about youths striving to make money.
“I urge youths to make money the clean way and not indulge in illegal or dirty ways.
“We are living in times where people will do anything to get money,” he added.
