Jah Master breaks silence

ZIMDANCEHALL artist, Rodney “Jah Master” Mashandure, has finally broken his silence.

Jah Master last released a banger in 2021, ‘‘Hello Mwari,’’ and fans have been wondering if he was just a one hit wonder or is having problems in recording new stuff.

Speaking to H-Metro, through his manager Lennon Madzamba, Jah Master’s camp said they were currently working on a new album.

“We are currently in the middle of recording an album.

“That is what has been taking up most of Jah Master’s time.

“He wants to make sure he does justice to it and give his fans the best that they deserve,” he said.

According to Madzamba, the album will come with 10 tracks.

“It is a singles collection album.

“Seven of the singles will just be from Jah Master alone.

“There are going to be collaborations on the remaining three songs which will be surprises for the fans,” Madzamba told H-Metro.

The release of the album is set for the end of the year.

“Right now, we are working on making sure that everything is on track so we decided to put the album release for the end-of-the-year.

“We first want to weigh when exactly we can get to release it as we are currently not done with it.

“About four or five of the singles are going to have videos so we are also hands-on with making the visuals, which, therefore, pushes the release and of the year,” he said.

Asked about what to expect from the upcoming album, Madzamba said:

“I have been listening to some of the tracks and all I can say is that they are coming out well.

“There might be a few people, who might get lucky and get to sample a few of the songs, before the release.

“He is working with big producers to make sure he delivers the best.

“Fans have been saying he has been too quiet so he is going to release one single, off the album, very soon.”
