JAH Master is a man walking with a spring in his step.
His camp has revealed that the singer is in avery good space after he received a Mercedes Benz gift from businessman Wicknell Chivayo.
They say it has been a huge morale-booster for him ahead of his performance at the 44th Uhuru celebrations at Murambinda Growth Point on Thursday.
The ‘Hello Mwari’ singer is part of the star-studded line-up performing at the event.
“I am humbled by Sir Wicknell’s gesture to give me this beast of the road. As an artist, my job is to sing and give people value for their money.
“I was humbled when I received this gift ahead of my performance at the Independence gala to be held in Buhera on Thursday.
“I now have a testimony to say at church as the Lord has worked His wonders.
“These blessings hardly come to people and I am very humbled.
“I am just asking the Lord to continue blessing me and others.”
Suluman Chimbetu, Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria and Sandra Ndebele will headline the event. DJ Fantan and the Chillspot Family of Levels and Ribhe will also be part of the show.
Sungura star Mark Ngwazi, Bio Mudimba, Simon Mutambi and legend Madzibaba Zakaria will cater for sungura lovers.
Mathias Mhere and Argatha Murudzwa will bless the event with their songs.
Last “Tambaoga” Chiangwa, Chief Hwenje, Shantel Sithole, Diana Samkange, Bigboy Motsi and Takura are also part of the show.
