AT last, Yadah have a win in the 2024 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League after winning this five-goal thriller at the Bata Stadium yesterday.

The Miracle Boys, who were missing the injured Khama Billiat, had gone for five matches without a win.

But, they finally got it right boys through two first half goals from Prosper Kafelapanjila and Marlon Mushonga.

Blessing Ndereki scored the killer third in the 74th minute.

TelOne FC then scored twice in a space of two minutes through Kudzai Jaison in the 93rd minute and Collins Chidomaya in the 95th minute.

But the match had a sad ending as referee Tichaona Tigere had to leave the stadium under heavy police escort as TelOne FC fans claimed he prematurely blew the whistle with three minutes of time added on still to be played.

TelOne coach Tendai Chikunisaid:

“We started slowly and we missed some scoring chances and they managed to get two goals in the first half.

“But I believe it was a game of two halves because we managed to come back and scored two goals.”

Chikuni said the referee’s decision is always final and his players should have done better.

Yadah coach, Thomas Ruzive, said:

“In the other previous matches, we were playing well but failing to score and today we managed to score,” he said.
