IN a potentially-explosive fiesta set for June 17, man-of-the-moment Jah Prayzah and Zim dancehall sensation, Killer T, will headline this year’s Montclair Annual Winter Festival at Montclair Hotel and Casino in Juliasdale, Nyanga.
For years, the festival was headlined by the late Oliver Mtukudzi.
This year’s event will take place later during the day after a two-day golf tournament that will see amateur and professional golf players taking part.
The June 16 tournament will be for junior golfers constituting of school-going children.
Last year the organizers pledged to develop the young players’ skills.
On June 17, adult golfers will then meet on the golf course.

The tournament will then be curtained down by arguably the country’s best top entertainers in their respective genres, Jah Prayzah and Killer T, as well as popular wheel spinner, Abisha Palmer.
The festival is expected to bring together people from across Manicaland province and beyond.
This will promote domestic tourism as people will have the opportunity to visit various scenic sites in Nyanga.
Last year’s carnival was graced by popular artiste, Nutty O, who left people clamoring for more.
One of the organisers, Busi Tutani, said preparations are going on well.
“We are happy with the preparations so far and we are looking forward to having a bigger and better event. This year’s edition shall be headlined by man-of-the-moment Jah Prayzah who has just successfully launched two albums.
“He will be supported by Killer T and Abisha Palmer. The line-up promises to be a showstopper and revellers are definitely in for a treat. The show will start at 7pm till the early hours of the morning,” said Busi.
She added: “Accommodation facilities in the area will enjoy brisk business as visitors come in.”
