TOP American rapper, DaBaby, is set to visit Zimbabwe for his maiden performance on September 23 in Harare.

He is billed to share the stage with Jah Prayzah at Old Hararians Sports Club, thanks to Roar Entertainment.

Last year, the stable hosted Rick Ross.

Dubbed the “Talk Chart DaBaby Concert”, the show is tipped to attract a number of rappers.

However, news of Jah Prayzah being part of the line-up has been greeted with mixed feelings on social media.

Some fans wanted it to be a Hip Hop affair while others embraced Jah Prayzah’s inclusion.

In a recent interview, a Roar Entertainment representative, acknowledged the fans’ swift reaction and confirmed that hip hop artists will dominate the concert.

“This time around, the ticket prices will be affordable to accommodate everyone compared to the Rick Ross Concert.

“The fans were quick to react, we have a whole line up of hip hop artists who will be revealed in due course.

“The local artists will have to prove their worth to be included on the line-up   and have an opportunity to share the stage with DaBaby,” said the representative.

Added the representative:

“The shows we do are not only for Zimbabwean audiences but also the regional fans.

“As such, Jah Prayzah is one of the best artists who has done very well in that area and he will raise Zim Hip Hop through collaborations.”

DaBaby has since confirmed his performance and the African tour.

Last year, Roar Entertainment Africa hosted Rick Ross at the HICC.

The show saw MTV Base as part of the red carpet while Nasty C, Nutty O, Takura, Saintfloew, Holy Ten, Hillzy, and Kikkybad*** were part of the cast.
