A Seke man who stabbed his cousin with a knife during a dispute over US$1, has been jailed for one year. Fortunate Muranganwa (41) of Musvazvi Village in Seke, was on June 1 and at around 5pm, drinking beer with his cousin Edward Choruma and his friend Edmore Zvomuya at N’ona Business Centre in Charakupa Village in Seke.

The court heard that Muranganwa sold his cellphone, a Nokia 3310 for US$5 to Zvomuya.

While on their way home from the business centre, Muranganwa asked for his money from Zvomuya, who said he did not have it on him.
After that, Muranganwa further asked for only US$1 from Zvomuya who still insisted that he had left it at his home.

An argument ensued between the two, leading to Muranganwa becoming violent and eventually stabbing Choruma in the back.
