Jamanda burial set for today

FORMER Blackpool and Motor Action board member, Simeon Jamanda, will be buried at Warren Hills Cemetery in Harare today.

The veteran administrator died on Thursday at West End Clinic after a long battle with kidney failure.

Jamanda, who for over three decades had been actively involved in several sports codes, was eight days short of his 60th birthday.

Family spokesperson, Sofia Jamanda, said burial will be around noon.

“Family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances of Simeon Jamanda, who was peacefully promoted to glory on Thursday 11 January 2024 are invited for his memorial service to be held at Callies Motor Action Sports Club at 9am on Monday 15 January 2024. Burial is set for Warren Hills Cemetery at 12.30pm,” said Sofia.
