James burial tomorrow

PROMINENT Bulawayo lawyer Joseph James, who died on Sunday, will be laid to rest at Lady Stanley in Bulawayo tomorrow.

James, a former president of the Law Society of Zimbabwe, was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

Family friend Delma Lupepe, who is also the Zimbabwe Newspapers Group chairman, said a service would be held at 8AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church parish in Parklands before burial at 11AM.

James grew up in the Bulawayo suburbs of Pelandaba and Thorngrove.

Buses have been organised to pick up mourners at 7AM from the two suburbs, Lupepe added..
