AMATUKS defender Partson Jaure is impressed with his overall performance at his new team in Pretoria. “Taking into consideration that I’m new in the Absa Premiership, I believe I did better in the first half of the season but there’re weaknesses which I need to work on.
“As a professional player there’re always some loopholes which must be worked on, it doesn’t mean one isn’t a good player even best players in the world have certain things they’ve to improve on. In the beautiful game we always aim higher on certain targets,” said Jaure.
The former Dynamos defender said at first it was tough and hard to adjust at training but at the moment he is enjoying his football at Pretoria University.
“My advantage at the team is that I’ve pace and I’m a good reader of the game but my target with the team is loud and clear, we need to end the season among the top eight which is possible considering the quality of players we’ve in the team,” said Jaure.
The Warriors captain dreams of playing in Europe one day. He believes he is ready to play in the biggest leagues in the world but right now his focus is on AmaTuks who he is contracted to.
AmaTuks ended the first half of the season outside the best eight.
He is as good as at home as he has Washington Arubi and midfielder Denver Mukamba as teammates while Tendai Tanyanyiwa trains the goalkeepers.
