SOUTH Africa-based jazz crooner, Leeroy Mutalika, is on fire.

Like the proverbial prophet, who does not have honour in his homeland, Mutalika has settled well across the Limpopo.

He, however, remains confident he will win the hearts of his countrymen and women.

Mutalika believes originality has propelled him to success.

“My music has already taken the world by storm as seen by its demand ever since I settled in South Africa.

“The response to my music, during live shows, is overwhelming and I believe I am destined to take Africa by storm,” said Mutalika.

Recently, he was back home in Zimbabwe to enjoy a break with his people.
