A Harare woman applied for a peace order against her jealousy consumed husband accusing him of threatening and abusing her at her workplace.

Nyasha Mvuu yesterday applied for a peace order against hubby, Perseverance Zimbodza, at the Harare Civil Court.

“My husband comes to my workplace to embarrass me in front of my colleagues. My job is now at risk because of his unbecoming behaviour.

He has been disturbing my peace for a long time now.

“He thinks that I prostitute myself at work, but I am not that kind of woman. I know the importance of my marriage and respect the institution of marriage. I don’t do extramarital affairs.

“Whenever we have a misunderstanding, he always assaults me, and the last time he did it, he left me with a loose tooth.”

“My husband has also threatened to kill me while sleeping. Ndakutotya kurara naye nokuti handiziye zvaarikufunga.

“I don’t want him to visit my workplace anymore,” she said.

Zimbodza was not in court to defend himself, and magistrate Tamara Chibindi granted a default judgment in favour of Nyasha.
