JERE VISITS HIS INJURED PLAYER IN HOSPITAL

Sports Reporter

CAPS United president Farai Jere visited his player Brighton Manhire in hospital in Harare yesterday in a powerful show of support for the men who are toiling on the field for the cause of the Green Machine.

Manhire was pulled out of the league match against FC Platinum at Mandava on Saturday after he suffered a head injury.

He was admitted at St Anne’s Hospital in Harare when the Green Machine returned home from Zvishavane where they posted an impressive 1-0 win over the four-time champions.

Jere was accompanied by club board member, Mordecai Sachikonye, who is a medical doctor.

The Harare businessman has developed a very close relationship with his players as the Green Machine battle to try and ensure they avoid relegation.

He has been pampering them with very good incentives, including US$1,000 winning bonuses, for them to go the extra mile in their battle.
