Zim dancehall star Jiggaz has warned his arch rival Badman to watch out ahead of their clash at Sting 2014 slated for this Saturday at the City Sports Centre.
Jiggaz who in real life does not see eye-to-eye with Badman said Sting 2014 was the perfect setting to put the record straight that he was ahead of his rival.
“Sting is my game and king is my name. So it’s a king king deh. Badman usaite bvepfepfe. Unoda kusara waanevende. Ndiri kunzwa nemakuhwa nekazevezeve. Uri mukono here ndinoda uzvitembe. You better watch out your ting, you better watch out. Dzikama saTocky anoimba achiti mhai,” said Jiggaz in a promo video.
The husky-voiced Jiggaz has featured on a number of riddims including the popular “Bodyslam” where he lays his vocals with ease.
Jiggaz who mentored the talents of Spiderman is one of the best in Zim dancehall and he has a natural flow.
Besides Jiggaz and Badman tiff, there is also Seh Calaz and Soul Jah Love who will go head-to-head on stage.
Soul Jah Love and Seh Calaz who both hail from Mbare are perceived as arch rivals in Zim dancehall and they have always traded barbs in song.
Soul Jah Love known for his flawless chants where he spits punchline after punchline says he will not be taking any prisoners at the contest come November 8. However, the two artistes have maintained that there is no blood between them as the “beef” only exists on stage. Organised by Chipaz Promotions, Sting 2014 will be held under the banner “Say No To Violence.” However, with the high tension brewing from all quarters, it remains to be seen if the organisers would be able to calm the artistes to keep their energy on the microphone. But whichever way you look at it, Sting 2014 promises nothing short of fireworks. There is also a host other artistes who will settle scores at the Sting. Lady Squanda will go head-to-head with Lady B while Badman will square-off with Platinum Prince.
Quonfuzed will battle Terminator, Jiggaz versus Ricky Fire and last but least Bounty Lisa will face off X Patriot.
There is also battle of the sounds systems whereby Mighty Ducks will compete against Fyah Links while Black Spider will take on Red Fox Family.
