For more than a year, former CBZ A-Academy winner Jonah Sithole kept his love life a secret after questions had been raised about the mother of his children. The Malaysia-based musician posted photos of his children on social networks but refused to reveal the mother. The Herald Entertainment can reveal that the lady who stole Sithole’s heart is named Erida and is of Indonesian-Philippine origins.
The-25 year-old musician said the two officially got married late last year in Indonesia.

Sithole said he is happily married.

“We had a white wedding last November in Bali, Indonesia. We are happy to announce the birth of our daughter Valentina. She is now 13 days old. Valentina brings the number of our children to three because we have first born twins. The mother and kids stay in Malaysia” he said.

The musician who is returning to Malaysia tomorrow for his studies said all is well with him.

He is studying for a recording arts degree at the Limkokwing University. “Malaysia is a beautiful country and is multicultural. On the music industry, I am happy that it is very vibrant as there is a lot of support from the gurus,” he said.

Sithole said he is set to release his third album dubbed “The Real Me”.

Some of the tracks on the album include “Moonlight Party”, “Valentino” and “How we Party” among others.

“Some of the tracks were co-produced by a Zimbabwean producer who is now based in New Zealand, Peter Schanz from Germany and Emir from Indonesia,” he explained.

Sithole said his music is diverse but R‘n’B is the main attraction.

He said the album was inspired by love. “I named it ‘The Real Me’ because it reflects transition in my life as I was growing up. I am now a man and I am inspired by love and societal settings. I love music. ‘For the Valentino’ is a dedication to my daughter and that track will be out on Valentine’s day,” said Sithole.

Sithole said he has composed 15 tracks but is still deciding how many to put on the album.

He said he is working on videos for tracks such as “Moonlight Party”, “Valentino” and “How we Party”.

“I am going to promote the album which is set to be released this summer. Three of my videos will be on YouTube and the music will be downloaded on the internet. I am yet to identify which tracks to put on album as we have many songs that we composed,” he said.

Sithole has performed at the Mahatir Peace Awards ceremony which was graced by South African president Jacob Zuma and the International KL Jazz festival earlier last year.

He won CBZ A-Academy in 2006 and has shared the stage with the legendary Oliver Mtukudzi at the A-Academy concert in 2009 before  winning an MTV World Stage event in Malaysia the same year.
