FOMER Chronicle and Sunday News reporter Busani Ncube (33) who died in a car accident on Sunday will be buried at his rural home in Filabusi on Thursday.Ncube died at the intersection of Basch Street and Khami Road after allegedly going through a red robot resulting in his vehicle side swiping another car.
Two friends who were in the vehicle that Ncube was driving, Nkululeko Sibanda (33), popularly known as “City-man,” who is also a journalist and Ntombikayise Nkala (21), who were rushed to the United Bulawayo Hospitals with head injuries, were yesterday said to be in a stable condition.
Ncube’s father, Mr Elliot Ncube (64) said his son would be buried at Nkankezi .
“There shall be transport provided for people who want to leave with the body on Wednesday at 3pm. Other vehicles will leave for Nkankezi on Thursday morning,” said Mr Ncube.
He said those driving to the homestead should travel along Bulawayo-Zvishavane Road which turns left at Mbalalaba. They then pass Khaya Nyama Kiosk in Filabusi, before driving about three kilometres to the homestead.
“It is just by the side of the road and those who get lost should ask for directions to Temba’s homestead KoNcube,” said Mr Ncube.
Ncube is survived by a wife and three children.
