The group, made up of five members, is led by Ringo Fosho, a former backing vocalist for Ruth Mapfumo, Rivonia Khumalo and Alastair Nyathi.
The album, titled Ngisebenzela Umoya, will be the group’s second offering after the release of their debut project, Ndinzwei Tenzi, in 2005.
Speaking in an interview recently, lead vocalist Fosho said they hoped the album will do better than their first one.
“Our first album did not live up to our expectations and we attribute that to lack of exposure. The album was not well promoted,” he said.
Fosho said although the group members were from different churches, they were able to work together.
“Music is not about which church one goes to but is all about praising the Lord through music,” said Fosho.
He said the group had received a lot of assistance from fellow artiste Khuxman.
He said the group was working on a DVD for their second album.
