Vincent Tonderai Gwazila aka Mega Vinton is a 26 year-old dancehall chanter from Highfield who is inspired by the late Judah E who worked with Extra Large on some projects. The three-track singles compilation is a preview of his full album due to be released in February, and contains the tracks “Mazai ne huku”, “Ndikuratidze” and “Moto Wema Cardbox”.
The songs touch on a number of issues including love without financial strings, having positive dreams of the future and the issue of “beef” or grudges within the Zimdancehall industry, with some artists being blamed for fuelling tensions by their bad behavior.
There is a remix for the song “Ndikuratidze” features several artists including Yoz, Flava, Stunner, and new artist Kantegius.
Gwazila has featured on a track by Stunner called “Fresh Chimoko” and also collaborated with Ex-Q on a track called “Ndanakirwa”.

Thelma Kapisa-“Fona”
This debut album is surely going to go places as it contains fresh sounds which resonate well to the ear.
The six-track compilation was produced by Alpha Dhapi and W. Slim Magombedze and is a soulful and jazzy mixture of true talent.
The title track “Fona” is about two lovers who have been separated by distance so they resort to technology to keep their love alight.
“Hoza” is a song featuring Ba Shupi and is a mixture of Ndebele and Zulu which also talks about two lovers who have been separated by distance, but they reunite in the end and celebrate the true love they have for each other.
“Kandiro” talks about doing to others what you expect to be done to yourself, or Karma which is like a mirror of life in reflecting what one does to others and coming back to its author.
Other songs on the album are “Rudo”, “Zororo” and “Handeyi” which touch on several issues including women in society who are dying to be married and also those who are married who are dying to be single.
Kapisa is a graduate from the University of Zimbabawe and believes that artistes should have a foundation in a solid career because of the uncertain nature of the music industry in the country.

Albert “Maffcat” Chirozva is a 26 year old artist whose Zimdancehall flavor is unique and enetertaining.
