Judgment Night 5 cancelled

Emmanuel Kafe
UNITED Family International Church (UFIC) leader Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa has cancelled this year’s edition of the Judgment Night to focus on the ministry’s expansion drive, the church’s spokesperson Pastor Prime Kufa has revealed.

Judgment Night is regarded as one of the largest inter-denominational gatherings in Zimbabwe and has seen pilgrims filling the National Sports Stadium to capacity.

Furthermore, the Billionaires Mindset Summit meant for businesspeople across the globe has been postponed, leaving the ministry’s two major events off the calendar.

Pastor Kufa said they could not host this year’s Judgment Night because of circumstances beyond their control.

“It was replaced by other programmes that we had and it’s no longer being held this year,” he said.

“We are spreading our tentacles to other areas,” Pastor Kufa said, explaining the ministry’s bid to focus on the establishment of branches across the country.

On the Billionaires Mindset Summit, Pastor Kufa said they were still trying to find a suitable venue for the event.

“We are trying to find a venue but chances are the event will now be held early next year,” he said.

While the Billionaire’s Mindset Summit attracts mainly business people, Judgment Night has attracted all and sundry, filling the 60 000-seater stadium to capacity since 2012.

Judgment Night began in 2011 as a session for prayers, deliverance and prophecy.

Last year, the all-night vigil was held at the ministry’s headquarters in Mount Hampden.
