JUST IN: 150 defect to Zanu PF in Gweru

Over 150 former MDC members from Gweru district have joined Zanu-PF as the recently inaugurated District Development Coodinating Committee (DCC) starts to hit the ground running.

The new recruits were welcomed at the revolutionary party district headquaters in Gweru today.

Minister of State for Midlands Provincial Afairs and Devolution, Cde Larry Mavima said the revolutionary party was a people’s party and those in opposition politics should be considersed as lost sheep.

“We welcome the lost sheep. We are a people’s party so those still lost must come back home,” he said
