JUST IN: 18 new Covid-19 cases recorded

ZIMBABWE recorded 18 new Covid -19 cases and no deaths yesterday.

10 271 people received their first dose on the same day, bringing the total number to 549 797 while 10 322 received their second dose to take the total number of those who have received the second dose to 180 568.

“As of 11 May 2021, at 1500hours there were 19 hospitalised cases, asymptomatic three, mild to moderate eight, severe six, and two in Intensive Care Units,” reads a statement from the Ministry of Health and Child Care.

A total of 1 839 tests were done while 56 new recoveries were reported.

The national recovery rate stands at 94,2percent and active cases went down to 610.

As of yesterday, Zimbabwe has recorded 38 466 cases 36 277 recoveries and 1579 deaths.
