JUST IN : Mthuli begins investors search Roadshow

Finance and Economic Development Minister Mthuli is currently in Cape Town South Africa where he is showcasing the country’s investment opportunities at the Zimbabwe Global Investor Roadshow.According to Minister Ncube, the Global Roadshow is aimed at positioning Zimbabwe as an economy and attractive investment destination in recovery.

Through his twitter handle, Minister Ncube said the positive outlook on economic performance for 2021, on the back of successful economic reforms and good rainfall season, “speaks strongly to recovery”.

At the road show, Minister Ncube met with several potential investors including the investment team at Allan Gray, one of the largest portfolio investors into Zimbabwe and African markets.

The Zimbabwe delagation took the opportunity to market the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange as a hard currency investment platform.

“In the Global Investor Roadshow we positioned the Victoria Falls Stock Exchange as an attractive platform for investors aiming to raise capital in hard currency for investment into Zimbabwe and Africa in general,” said Minister Ncube.

He also revealed that government will also issue bonds on VFEX to raise capital.
