JUST IN: Two feared dead in kombi accident

TWO people are feared dead after a Nissan Caravan they were travelling in burst a tyre and overturned multiple times along the Mutare-Nyanga Road near Manica Bridge this afternoon.

 

The commuter omnibus was ferrying home school children from Hartzell Central Primary School.

 

When The Manica Post news crew arrived at the scene shortly after the accident happened, the injured had just been ferried to Old Mutare Mission Hospital.

 

The driver of the bus and a learner are feared to have died on the spot.

 

Witnesses who were interviewed said more than ten pupils were injured.

 

Police were yet to attend the scene.
