In a bid to ease congestion in the CBD, City of Kadoma is engaging City Parking (Pvt) Ltd to take over all parking activities in the town.
The development was communicated by the mayor, Cllr Nigel Ruzario.
“We need to improve in several areas in the city. For instance, our parking is to be taken over by City Parking. At the moment we assessing our position in terms of who should be doing what and where with regards to order in the CBD.
“The state of affairs is not impressive.
“There’s a big window for financial leakages as a result. We only await the coming on board of City Parking.”
City Parking is an independent contractor with a concern in logistics management and revenue collection for its clients.
Some of the cities that have so far engaged the company include the capital Harare and Gweru.
