THE Doek & Slay party rolled into Kadoma on Sunday and gave the town’s women a feel of this ladies only show, which is taking the country by storm.
Feli Nandi and Enzo Ishall, who are regulars on the Doek & Slay bandwagon, provided the entertainment.
Dressed in denims and white tops, with a touch of a doek, the women understood the special nature of this show.
“Kadoma munopisa, you understood the assignment. We witnessed love at Doek & Slay lifestyle, where girls meet as strangers and depart as sisters,” said the organisers.
In an interview with H-Metro, Enzo Ishall’s management team said:
“We had a good time, Kadoma ladies know how to turn up.
“It’s always about him engaging with his audience and creating a relationship and this ensures that those fans are going to come back and they are going to talk about him long after the performance is over.”
The ladies only event will return to Harare on August 25.
Freeman, Killer T and EXQ are the artists who have been lined up to entertain the thousands of women expected to be part of the show.
The last Doek & Slay Harare show shattered the records with more than 10 000 women converging for the event.
The headline act was Jah Prayzah.
Bulawayo will have its share on August 18 at the ZITF Grounds.
Freeman and Enzo will provide the entertainment.
