Kadurira wants strikers

Webster Dzvova
NGEZI Platinum Stars coach Clifton Kadurira is hunting for experienced strikers to beef up his strike force after his side’s disappointing start in their debut Castle Lager Premiership season.

Kadurira told The Herald he was not happy with his side’s poor conversion rate.

They have only managed two wins and two draws in nine starts and travel to Rufaro for their next game against Dynamos this Sunday.

“Going forward, we are going to beef up our strike force,” he said.

“From all the matches we have played, you could see that we have been playing very well but our strike force has been our biggest let down.

“On Sunday against Harare City, we were on top of the situation from the first whistle but ended up on the losing end.

“Most of our players are from Division One and we will beef up our team when the window opens.

“We will let you know our targets during the window. Our target before the season started was a top eight finish.”
