ZAMBIAN gaffer Kelvin Kaindu has been named Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Coach of the Month for August after steering Dynamos to a strong resurgence in their fight against relegation.
Kaindu, a former Highlanders boss, has injected fresh belief into the Glamour Boys, guiding them to crucial results at a time when the Harare giants were flirting with danger near the drop zone.
On the players’ front, Scotland FC’s red-hot striker Tymon Machope walked away with the Player of the Month gong after a string of electrifying performances that have kept his side punching above their weight in the league.
The recognition sets the stage for a thrilling PSL Week 28 this weekend, with mouth-watering clashes lined up:
Saturday
• TelOne v MWOS (Ascot)
• Chicken Inn v Kwekwe United (Luveve)
• Manica Diamonds v Grenfuel (Sakubva)
• Simba Bhora v Scotland (Wadzanayi)
• Herentals v CAPS United (Rufaro)
• ZPC Kariba v Ngezi Platinum Stars (Nyamhunga)
• FC Platinum v Highlanders (Mandava)
• Yadah FC v Bikita Minerals (Heart Stadium)
Sunday
• Dynamos v Triangle United (Rufaro)
All eyes will be on Kaindu’s Glamour Boys as they host Triangle United, hoping to continue their late-season charge and pull further away from the dreaded relegation zone.
