CREATIVE director and entrepreneur Sarah Dee, born Sarah Dhliwayo, has won her first MegaFest award after being named among the Top 20 Female Entrepreneurs of the Year at the 2026 Megafest Business Awards Zimbabwe.

The recognition comes as Sarah Dee prepares to officially launch her fashion brand, Sarah Dee Creations Africa, at a corporate dinner in Harare on October 30.
Sarah Dee said it was an honour to be recognised nationally alongside some of Zimbabwe’s leading businesswomen.
“This is my first MegaFest Business Award, and it is very special to me. I have received recognition before in the arts and women’s empowerment sectors through AFAAZ and AFAAA, but MegaFest is a business platform. To be recognised among Zimbabwe’s top business leaders as a female entrepreneur is a first and a very big honour for me and for Sarah Dee Creations Africa.
“I feel humbled, grateful and empowered. Humbled because there are so many hardworking women in Zimbabwe. Grateful to God, my family, my team and all the women who have supported my 13 initiatives. Empowered because this shows that hard work, consistency and staying true to your purpose pay off.
“As a mother of four, juggling business, music, fashion, modelling and community work, this award says to every woman: you can do it,” she said.
She said the award was a milestone for Sarah Dee Creations Africa, giving the brand recognition as a business entity beyond its work in the arts sector.
“We are the mother organisation behind 13 initiatives, including All Female Artist Awards Africa, Divas In Action, Mr and Miss Twins Zim, Catch Them Young and our upcoming Ladies Gym and Dancing Studio.
“This award puts a stamp of credibility on our brand across Africa. Our motto is ‘Support Your Own, Empower Your Own, Charity Begins at Home’, and now the Zimbabwean business community is supporting us too.
“This award has come at the perfect time. We are about to host the AFAAA Nominees Programme from November 24 to 28, 2026, here in Zimbabwe, with nominees from more than 30 African countries. We are also preparing to launch our Ladies Gym and Dancing Studio.
“Winning the Top 20 Female Entrepreneurs of the Year award positions Sarah Dee Creations Africa as a serious, sustainable Pan-African business that is here to stay. It shows investors, partners and sponsors that we are not just dreaming but building. We are building an empire for women, by women,” said Sarah Dee.
