INTERIM Zimbabwe coach Kaitano Tembo has expressed general satisfaction with his team’s performance in their Unity Cup 2-0 defeat by Nigeria at The Valley Stadium in London, England.
Tembo, however, believes the Warriors could have avoided the two goals they conceded with some “better defending”.
He also bemoaned their failure to capitalise on the chances they created.
Flanked by ZIFA communications manager Michael Madoda, Tembo addressed the media after Tuesday night’s semi-final clash.
Zimbabwe now await the outcome of the second semi-final between Jamaica and India tonight (Wednesday) to know who will be their opponents in the bronze medal match.
